Design for a Future World

  Nature  as adornments or as a portal for the imagination.

These are products for a future world. A world in which people are living from a fundamentally different story of self. Not the separate and rival myth that we currently live by, but from an interconnected and co-creating foundation story. In this world, Nature is revered, is looked to for answers, and for intelligence as well as sustenance.

Creativity is supported and honored in this worldview. All are seen for the potential they can discover within  themselves and bring or add  to the common wealth.

The mind and the evolving consciousness of the Children of the Earth is  foundational ... In this future world it will be recognized that for optimum health, a balance of inner and outer life is essential. Time in a "meditative", present mind state and an open imagination is an important part of life.

There is much more sharing in this future. It’s more about access to things and space as opposed to possessing them.

The InTent is meant to hold the space for personal inner exploration. Where one can enter into mind states that are present, that opens the imagination and creativity, expanding abilities to perceive through other senses like the heart and soul and provide a workspace for transformation.

Holding the space with sound. A menu of soundscapes allows the participants to customize their experience and amount of time.

Nature Facades Nature as adornment for expressing a connection or an affinity to nature. To embody nature. These attachments and covers are  the decorative aspect of a system of dressing that involves minimal garments. A foundation of comfortable durable clothes, with versatile layers and attachments. Designed to allow for personal expression. One must be able to travel light.

The work is composed with: Nature + Imagination + Spoken Word + Vibrations

~Nature~ “materials” for this work embody qualities of nature: sounds, images and real bits of nature.

~Imagination ~ I include creations from the Children of the Earth: music, art and some co-creative music, a Wind Harp and a Sea Organ.

~ Spoken Word~ Words from mystics and poets, Medicine Cards and Thoth, future thinkers and mine, are mixed in.

~ Vibrations and frequencies~ to ease and deepen the return to your higher mind state.  

Buckminster Fuller believed that “nature is trying to make us a success, that nature is readying us for an important function.” Fuller tried to educate a critical mass of people to recognize and take advantage of humanity’s potential for synergy.”

He wrote “Human integrity is the uncompromising courage of self determining whether or not to take initiatives, support or cooperate with others in accord with ‘all the truth and nothing but the truth’ as it is conceived by the divine mind always available in each individual.”

A dove was taking a dust bath outside my window when it was suddenly spooked. It flew up and crashed into the glass. After a minute it flew off stunned, but fine. I photographed its dusty imprint on the glass. The image struck me as a metaphor for what humans might be headed towards. Even though we should be able to see the glints and reflections, the evidence,  we need to open our perceptions and imagination or, just like birds our flight path may get abruptly interrupted .

It began with a flicker.Across the Earth, systems went silent.Not collapse — but stillness. Then something subtle appeared. A hidden anatomy of light. Emotion as color. Thought as frequency.  Connection as living current.
